Gas pressure is caused by what?   Good Day..... In gas laws,  Gas pressure is the result of the gas molecules hits the wall of the container inside. The more the gas molecules hits the wall of the container the higher the pressure. The less the gas molecules hits the wall of the container the lesser the pressure and gas pressure can be affected by, temperature, volume, and amount of gas. Boyles law - states that volume is inversely proportional to pressure when the amount of gas and temperature are constant.
